About Me
Hello again — I’m Johann, a digital designer based in Vancouver with a background in UX/UI, digital marketing, and front-end development.
My Path So Far
Right now, I’m freelancing on an eCommerce and branding project, helping a small business bring their online presence to life. I’m also exploring opportunities in UX/UI, product design, and digital marketing, where I can bring together creativity, problem-solving, and strategy to craft experiences that feel thoughtful and intuitive.
I studied New Media Design & Web Development at BCIT, where I learned to connect design and code through hands-on projects that combined UX strategy, UI design, and front-end development. Before that, I completed the Marketing Management – Communications program, which built my foundation in storytelling, brand positioning, and understanding audiences. All of these experiences now shape how I approach design.
Recently, I've also done some work as a Design & Web Development Intern at Convergence / Pixel Ramen, a design and dev agency based in Vancouver. I contributed to branding, visual content, and web builds, while also supporting QA and front-end development for live client projects.

What Keeps Me Going
Growing up, I was always drawn to different creative outlets whether it be architecture, photography, fashion, etc. My diverse appreciation for all these mediums serves as my sources of inspiration in my design workflow.
When I'm not behind the screen, you'll probably find me at a driving range working on my swing or getting a workout in at the gym! As I continue to grow as a designer, I hope to explore different areas like print and typography design.
